First and foremost here is that nagging will not help. At all. In fact, it will probably only result in another night out with the boys and therefore even less help when you need it.

Be crafty. Most men will avoid helping out because they simply don’t want to do it and furthermore, they don’t have to because you always do. Therefore, be passive aggressive. Not washing their clothes because ‘I was too busy clearing up after the kids party this weekend’ etc. You can set up a sneaky rewards scheme as well, ie: all the chores you do for him are completed after he’s done everything else that you need him to do. For example, you can cook him dinner once he’s cleaned the kitchen, wash his clothes once the washing up is done etc. He won’t even notice you’re doing it until you’re not. Remember, you are the Queen of this household!
